do I need to go for stamping?

yesterday my case got approved and received 2 emails about the approval by 1:20 pm. On the same day by 10:00pm I received 2 sets of email saying

"after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

do I need to go for stamping??? :confused:
 
You should probably wait for your approval notice (the physical paper that you get in the mail) and see what it says. I always thought one cannot get the physical card unless they go for stamping (with their recent photographs etc.)
 
I'm not sure

But my lawyer told me I need not go to stamp. The stamp is more like temporary green card. If you don't need travel outside of US, you need not to do that.
