Dear Friends,
I am new on this AC21 subject. I have an approved I-140 and pending I-485 application with my current employer since Jan 25, 2007. The I-140 case was based on EB1-EA self petition, and no employer sponsorship.
I have been offered a new position at Company B starting Aug 2007. I have EAD card which is valid till April 2008.
1- Do I need to do anything in terms of AC21 rule, before I join the new company? I think by the time that I start my work at Company B, I have passed the 6 months gap.
2- When can I resign from my current company? If I resign earlier than 6 months, then will I be in trouble?

Thanks for the Advice and comments.
Reza

-------------- You can update USCIS
2- When can I resign from my current company? If I resign earlier than 6 months, then will I be in trouble?
---------------------NO as your I-140 is self petition
Thanks for the Advice and comments.

Thanks ginnu. Regarding your comment on "updating USCIS", do you mean adress updating (AR-11) or should I fill out any other paper work?
Thanks

Generally EB1-EA self petition require only statement from your side that you will work in your extraordinary ability field. If I join new employer I will send the new employer permanent job offer letter so that USCIS knows that you have Permanent job offer.
Send the copy of I-485 filing receipt +new employer job offer letter to the service center where I-485 is pending.
If you move then file AR11 and also update the address on pending petition with USCIS by writing to USCIS AND also on phone 1-800NCSC (AR11 does not change address on pending petitions with USCIS)
What is your field in EB1-EA??
