Do I need to file Affidavit of Support for spouse?

My NIW-based I-140 was approved by VSC. Now I'm going to file I-485 for myself and my husband. My husband is holding H1-B and has a full-time job here. Do I need to submit the form I-134, Affidavit of Support, for him? My lawyer says I should. But a friend of mine who was in the same situation didn't submit the form when filing 485 for him and his wife, and both were approved recently. I asked another lawyer who also said I don't need to submit the form I-134. So I'm confused now. Does anybody, especially those who already filed 485 through EB-1 or EB-2 tracks, know if I should submit I-134? Thanks in advance.
 
I think it would not hurt to file an affidevit. I did not submit it with I-485 application but was asked to fill the affidevit form for my wife and son at the time of interview.
