Do I need to apply for a re-entry permit? Please let me know!

Hello,

I'll be out of US from late August to late January..so approximately 5 months. Do I need to apply for re-entry permit?

So far I've been out of the US as below since I got GC in March 2008

May 2008- 1 month
Jan 2009- 3 weeks
Nov 2009- 3 weeks

It doesn't look like you need a re-entry permit. Are you going abroad for pleasure, or business?
