DO I need to AC21????

Hi,
I have changed employers a few times now and didnt file AC21 notice. I heard that there is no need to do so. Please can someone tell me whether AC21 is necessary or not?

------ it is better to update USCIS with new employer letter to use AC21, becase that way they will know that you are using AC21 and I-485 may be approved without RFE becase if they send RFE they may ask long list of documents

But what if my employer changes every 6 months, in that situation wouldnt it be too much to inform the INS with every job change?

If you are so unsure about who your employer would be (or that you change your employer every 6 months)...then dont inform USCIS. You may wait for an RFE...then reply back to the RFE with the details of the employer at that time.

Now, the problem arises if your petition gets approved without an RFE. USCIS presumes that you work for the petitioner employer. It may look negative at the time of citizenship (if you care..!!).

See...i may be wrong in what i just said. But, this is what i;ve inferred out of 100s of posts in multiple websites.
