Hi, Do I need my I-485 receipt to apply for my EAD? I applied for my I-485 on 06/02/2001, I don’t have my receipt yet.

Yes..... You do need that. I think it would be much easier if you can take that to the local office and they can do it within couple of weeks. What would be your nearest local office?
