Do I need AP?

I had a question about travelling to India. I got my EAD and I was not sure if I can travel to India or would I need to apply for Advanced Parole. Based on my H-1, I have multiple entry till Oct'2004. Is that disregarded now since I have my EAD. My incompetent lawyers are no good and have not been able to
answer any questions.

Really appreciate your help.

I think if you worked on the EAD then H1 gets voided, you can double check with some legal expert.

if u think u r GC will be approved when u r in India then apply for AP otherwise u do not need it as long as u u r H1 is valid when u come back

Are you currently working on an EAD or H1?
In my opinion:
If you're working on an EAD you'll need an AP to re-enter even if your H1 might be valid. At POE they might let you in on your H1 but that wouldn't be the right way.
If you're working on an H1 you can use that to re-enter since it's valid till Oct 2004.

You could possess an EAD but you can continue working on an H1.
