Do I loose my O1 status

Hello, I´m working for my employer with an O1 visa. I have the i140 approved and want to apply for I485 (work authoritation). Am I going to loose my O1 in the moment that I apply for i-485?

No, you loose it if you use the EAD to work with, not to apply to.
