Do I have to use InfoPass in Newark NJ?

My I485 RD 06/23/2003 got apporved 10/30/2004. The approval notice saying, I need go to Newark NJ office at Wendesnday 8-12AM for Alien Card and Stamping, it did not specify a date.

But my attorny yesterday told me I now have to get an appontment from InfoPass, they changed the rule since 11/03/2004 for Newark office. People used to just walk-in Newark, NJ for such stamping.

When I use InfoPass, I only got a date at 11/19/2004, can I go to Newaark office earlier, e.g next Wendesday without an Infopass since my approval date is earlier than 11/03/2004?

Any ideas is appreciated.
 
I heard.. you can't go... they are asking for infopass appointment.

but .. you can always try..

Dear sir,

I knew you went to Newark on 11-10-04 for passport stamp. I will also go there this Friday, Should I use front view or side view photoes? Do they insist on InfoPass appointment?

Do I need bring other materials like company employement letter with me? The approval notice did not ask for it though.
