I have to travel to Canada for Permanent Residency. I intend to stay there for 2/3 days and come back to USA after applying for SIN Card.
1. Do I have to report to any US agency like Immigration while crossing the border? How they will confirm that I am not away for more than 30 days to get my visa automatically revalidated?
2.What Bridge in Buffallo shall I use to cross over to Canada? Peace Bridge or Quinston Louiston bridge or ...? I mean where I will have smooth processing of my landing Procedure.
3.Also, Is it required to open Bank Account in Canada if I don't intend to go back to canada atleast for next few years?
4. Can I apply for SIN card from any HRD center even if I give the address of the place which is not in their jurisdiction. e.g. The site of HRD gives 'St. Catharines, Thorold, Lincoln, Niagara-on-the-Lake, West Lincoln, Grimsby' as the Service areas for their office in St. Catherine. Can I apply from this place if I am giving the address from Toronto?
