Do I have to land where I specified on forms?

Hi — I recently got my Diversity visa to enter the U.S. this Fall. I specified that my permanent address was Boston because that’s where my aunt lives and I figured it would be the place where they mailed the permanent residency cards.

But do I *need* to land in Boston as well? If I want to settle elsewhere (other side of the coast), can I do that right away and forego landing where I specified as my permanent U.S. address?

You can enter from anywhere you like. You're not restricted to landing in Boston.
