Do i have to apply for SIN card at an office near to the address i give? pls. advise

I am planning to land in Toronto by air. I have a friend in ottawa, i am thinking of staying in toronto to apply for SIN card. Do i have to apply in ottawa since that is the address i provide at landing? \

No not required. Any office is fine. My home was Toronto and SIN office was near to Great Fall.
 
I am landing in Ottawa I plan to apply for SIN in Ottawa as well while giving an address in Toronto as this is where I will be based eventually.
