Hi, I've tried diversity lottery for 3 years with my family and not been selected. While I understand that it's very difficult to win it, I was wondering if maybe entering family members with the same last names is automatically disqualifying us? I noticed that when we are checking results, the only difference is date of birth and registration ID. I would love to hear any opinions or experiences with the diversity lottery, specifically if ESC is disqualifying us because they think it's the same person making multiple entries

You’re not being automatically disqualified based on family members with the same last name applying every year. Family members with the same last name have been know to have been selected either in the same year, or different year.
