Hey everyone,
I'm dealing with a situation that has me a bit worried, and I could use some advice. I was involved in a car accident in Colorado, but I wasn’t the one driving. Despite that, I was cited by the police and summoned to court on two charges: careless driving and hit-and-run (property damage only). I fought the charges in court, and the case was dismissed without any plea agreement or conditions. There was no arrest involved either.
My concern now is whether this incident might affect my F-1 visa status during my stay in the U.S. I haven't received any communication from the embassy about a visa revocation, but I've read some posts where people found out about revocations only when trying to re-enter the U.S. after a trip abroad.
Has anyone else had a similar experience, or does anyone know if this kind of situation could lead to a revocation without notification? Any advice or insights would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!
