If you care about watching World Cup Cricket 2003 here in the US , please read on:

I have started a petition at www.PetitionOnline.com to
send DISH network about their really high pricing
structure for World cup cricket broadcast. This is a
great way of showing how they are missing out on all
our business because of their pricing structure.if
enough of us sign it, we could get the attention of
the DISH network folks and maybe, just maybe, watching
cricket in the US would become more affordable going
forward.

Oh BTW, I need my cat neutured, it's been flirtin' with this girl's cat recently in my apartment complex and she's pissed off with me, and has been threatening to sue my cat for kitten support and alimony if in case something really happens .. which is really spoiling my mojo karma with her .. .. since I can't find any kitty condoms anywhere, can I start a petition for that?

In this Country viewing Cricket is a Luxury..

I would have shelled out $600 or more for the World Cup.. I am pleasantly surprised that it is only $299.... no complaints there!!

And what are you talking about .. Pakistani cheating? When was this? (I only lived in Pakistan for 2 years when I WAS REALLY YOUNG). Now my dad is teaching me about cricket.

So I don't know a lot about cricket, but all I know is that last time Pakistan played in World Cup they placed second.. So I don't know (where, when, or IF) they cheated...

What about the judges and umpires? Were they given a big chunk of sum from the Pakis? (just like the damn Lakers last year.. hate those little punks).

By the way: My dad makes pretty good sheesh kebab.... some excellent massalla...

I think SillyMan is referring to the Pakistan vs. Bangladesh match last world cup - that was blasphemos.... utter rubbish and a clear case of Match fixation.. not to say that India and other countries dont or did not participate... I hope this world cup nobody does that..... we sit here and pay so much money to watch the games and those idiots do match fixing... they need to be lynched!

Dont forget the final.... it was no different... Even though I know that some of the games will be fixed, I will still watch it like everyone else. To be the devil's advocate, you cant entirely blame the under-payed players from poor nations when there are tens of millions of $ online in the play books around the world. Its human nature to be tempted and even give away their professional pride etc. if someone offers them $100K when they make $250 a game.

... is it at all, remotely possible that the pakistani cricket team is actually good?

Sorry to propagate this SPAM but thanks papoo1234 for the link! I think it will be great to watch the games with such a huge crowd! :) I think I might catch a game or two there.
