Direct Airside Transit requirements in uk for advance payroll applicants

Anybody traveled recently from USA to Other asian countries with or without Transit Visa in UK Airport hubs (London Gatwick/Heathrow). Travel agent says If we do not have valid visa (Obviously mind expired on I-485 pending status with Adv Payroll) We can't leave US. Is this True ?

My attorney says all I needs is original I-485 receit, Advance Payroll doc, passport to travel but travel agent says I need trnsit visa also.

Please explian me if some one experienced this requirement in their travel. Thanks

BOYCOTT LONDON!

They don't want you there, SO...Find another route to get to wherever you need to.

1 Billion Indians + 1 Billion Chinese + 1 Billion other "Non-Londoners" = 3 BILLION.

3 BILLION people boycotting an Airline or Airport ought to make a "bloody" difference.

Both are correct. You need I-485, AP, Passport etc. to re-enter USA. And you need transit visa to be able to travel through UK. This issue has been discussed at length previously.. here is the link

TRUE. But alternatives are very tight else one has to spend any where from 12 to 24 hours in transit via frankfurt or paris. UK sucks.
