Hello,
My husband's passport is expiring in october 10th 2004. So if we have to apply for the new passport it should be not less than 6 months. That means the earliest we can apply for the new passport is in April 10th 2004.
Our 1-485 was approved on April 1st 2004. We are going to get the approval notices in few days, so we are thinking that on April 10th he can apply for his new passport to the Indian consulate in DC. It's taking 10 days to process this kind of application. So after he gets the new passport we want to go for stamping. Is that a good idea? Or
Should we go for the stamping now and appy for the new passport later and go through with the stamping of the new passport again? if yes what is the procedure involved for getting the new passport stamped???
Any suggestions are most welcome. Thank you very much in advance.
