Real situation:
I-130 filed and approved, 'A' number given. Afterwards, I-140 filed, approved, I-485 filed and GC given. But employer has been blackmailing and harassing GC holder. Is it possible to use I-407 to give up GC and apply I-485 based on I-130 petition? what would be the steps?

I'd just quit the job and see what happens. I don't see any requirement to give up the GC.
