Could you throw some more light on the above sentence ? You will have almost 3 months to reply to the RFE. Try to learn some good skillset and get a job. Then ask the new employer to give the salary. If possible try to goback to the old employer, after finding a client. There is nothing any one can do for you here. There is no substitue for Job offer and you have to try your best to get a job now. Wish you good luck. You are neither the first one nor will be the last to face this situation. Many people face this troubling situation. If some one in this forum can help you with their contacts, that will be great. You have around 3 months to respond to your RFE. By then you can find a company which offers you a job with same or similar category as mentioned in your I-140 and send the employment letter from them.
Now a days it doesn't really matter much even if you are unemployed. You have to just prove that you will not be a public charge!
