My father is having US tourist visa stamped in his old passport.
Old passport and visa has format -:
<Surname> <First Name> <Middle Name>
e.g.- <Surname> <First Name> ABC
He recently renewed passport and corrected middle name which was asked by passport office (to keep it consistent with other docs like Aadhar card, Bank docs etc.)
New passport format -:
<Surname> <First Name> <Middle Name>
e.g.- <Surname> <First Name> ABCDE (DE was appended in middle name in latest passport)
Can he travel with his old visa while carrying both passports OR any specific documents he needs to carry OR he needs to get altogether new stamping ?

from Dept of State:

I changed my name. Is my U.S. visa with my old name still valid?

If your name has legally changed through marriage, divorce, or a court ordered name change, you will need to obtain a new passport. Once you have a new passport, the Department of State recommends that you apply for a new U.S. visa to make it easier for you to travel to and from the United States.
