different IV date for couples

I noticed that most interviews happened in the early morning. My wife and I are going to submit our N-400s soon. Can we submit a letter with our N-400s to ask for different interview dates? Has anybody done this? We have a young child and are going to have another baby in a couple of months. So early morning on the same day would be difficult for us.

Save yourself the trouble and just send the letters with a week or so difference. This should pretty much guarantee that you'll get interview in different dates. Family cases nowadays are handled separately even if you send them in the same big envelope.

Yeah, don't make it too complicated - they have enough problems keeping things on track with completely standard applications.

In any case, if you get the interview at the same time, I'm sure that they'd let one of you stay out in the waiting room with the kid.
 
Thanks guys. We will submit our applications several days apart. I was afraid that they were going to link our applications since we got our GC together. But it looks like they are not doing it that way.
