Do the dates under Federal Level mean that it’s the time when State Workforce Commission submits a favorable recommendation to the Department of Labor?? For example, in the federal table of Non-RIR in Region New York II, it says 10/2000. So, does that mean currently New York II regional DOL is processing the cases that they RECEIVED recommendation FROM State Workforce Commission (State DOL) in 10/2000??? That is, even though the state DOL is sending out the recommendation to New York II DOL now, I shall still need to wait for more than one year to have a result for my LC application?? I would appreciate if anyone can answer me this question. Thanks.

Yes . you are absolutely right. you have to wait . I m in the same boat. my case was sent to ny dol in August 2001.
In some cases DOL NY will certify cases within 7 days of receipt , these are cases which are put under limited review. if you received a few advertisents , then the case goes under detailed review, and that is what is taking so muchg time. when was your case received in DOL. If a month has passwd then your case has gone into detailed review.

NY DOL processes cases based on date of receipt. The latest is that they are processing cases received on 25 th Jan 2001 . The web site has not been updated. I am tracking the cases case by case . they should finish Jan 2001 in maybe another 5 days.
By the way u have mentioned SWC as State dol . DOL is used for Federal labor certification. and SESA orSWC certifies cases at a state level.
