Difference between RD & ND?

Hi..All,

What is the difference between Receipt Date & Notice date.? Mine was sent on Aug 19 , CSC & I got an email from the Attorney that they have received receipts from INS dated Aug 23rd. is this the receipt date?

Secondly, does someone have to wait RD+6months or ND+6months to jump. This is for my friend.

You will get receipt notices from the INS which will mention the two dates seperately. It is better to count 180 days from ND. There is no particular mention in the rule of which to consider to count the 180 days.
