Hi all,

Question perhaps asked previously in this forum but couldn't find an answer:

I received my Green Card in 2001 and moved to a house I bought in 2002. Since then I have lived in the same house. I filed for my N400 in 2006 (still waiting) but in the meantime found out about the AR-11. I do not recall sending it to the USCIS (then INS). It has been slightly over six years since my last move but don't recall sending the AR-11.

Does it make sense to send it after all these years? The N400 has my latest address and all communications from the USCIS has been coming to me to my new and current address.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I dont think the AR-11 form asks for the date that you moved to the address, instead only for your current address. It may ask for your previous address. So, you can send it in anytime. I remember my lawyer saying at some point to one of my colleagues that if he was not sure to just send it in.

Even though the last address change was six years ago?
Doesn't matter. If you haven't filed it in years, the way to resolve it is file it for your current address. They want the information so they can contact you about any urgent immigration matters, whether it is about your benefits or they want to deport you. Old addresses don't help them because you're no longer there.
