Did not know you can change your address online.

I am moving this week and found out via the toll free # that you can change your address both with form AR-11 AND for your pending application on this URL.

The pro of this method is that you get a confirmation number (kinda like your receipt #) for future references, while mailing you will rely on postal records.

I hope this is useful info. I cannot wait to get the damn card.....

In addition to change your address with USCIS, you can also change online your address with the US Post Office. At this time, all your mails will be forwarded to your new address.

What do you mean? I change my address online on Uscis website and I received a letter to confirm that my address is updated.

Yes, you can. Besides not just your address but you can aslo change address for your pending applications so USCIS will not mail any notices to your old address.

Just follow the instructions. When you are done with address change,
it will ask if you have any pending cases that you want to change the address for.

very useful tool ! :)

i would not rely on this tool only. To be on a safe side with your pending application address, call USCIS and talk to a person. Although ot does not gurantee anything. :o

As soon you change online your address, within 30 days, USCIS will send you a confirmation letter to your new address. That was my experience.
