Did not get passport stamped

Hi
I got the green card itself and our passports were not stamped by SFO office due to system error they had. After waiting for 1 1/2 months we got the green cards itself. Now I'm not sure whether we need to get the passports stamped also ?? Please reply.

No, you don't need the stamp any more. You are the real GC holder now.
Stamp is a temporary permit for travel/work which is valid for 1 year or
until you get you physical card.

Were you interviewd at SFO. if Yes then did your LUD and message change later.
My passport was not stamped too due to name check pending.
I am wondering if my name check goes through they might just send the Gc directly
I know I am being very optimistic but then you never know.
 
no interview.
we got our approval letters and everything then also they said our info missing from their core system. so we had to retry couple of times but then the gc came to us. we wrote to senators earlier.
 
how soon did u get the physical card after the date of I-485 approval

and also does the green card bear the I-485 approval date as the date starign your Permanent residency
