Last year, I applied for PR in Buffalo and indicated the choice of interview location to be Detroit. Does anybody know whether my file will be transferred to Detroit? In January, I went to Detroit for visitor visa and I have indicated that I am visiting canada and got the visitor visa. But when asked I also said "I am only visiting canada, I don\'t want to settle in Canada now, maybe later". If they have my PR file, will they deny my PR basing on what I said????

My file was also in Detroit. Can you post your Date on which your file has been transferred. My file was transferred in OCt 2001. I talk to detroit office and they said it will be this Oct 2002 i will get an interview letter. Did you try to talk to them about the status??
 
bcoz ...

bcoz I said I don\'t want to settle in canada. (in order to get the visitor visa eventhough my PR was pending). I will just wait and see what happens
