Did everyone get H1 receipt ????????????

Hi,
My company filed my H1 in march'07 last week under advance degree quota. I have done my MS here in USA and graduated 2 yr back. My company who filed my h1 says that neither my check got encashed nor did they get the receipt. Is anyone in the same situation, please help. My employer says that my case is on hold and lawyer has sent a mail to enquire about this case. DO I need to beleive these stories?

I think the Service Centers are still encountering delays with the receipting due to the volume of applications. Well, I'll just be more specific to CSC then.

Still no receipt notice for me but my employer said that my check had been encashed.
