Did CSC lose my application?

I filed a petition for my wife back in mid-February. My lawyer sent the file to CSC and the delivery confirmation shows it was successfully delivered in Laguna Niguel, CA in mid-February. CSC has now had my application for 11 weeks, but they have still not cashed the checks or sent me any type of receipt notification. Is this normal?

So I called USCIS and they told me the application (I-130 and I-485) should have been sent to the Chicago P.O. box, but I have confirmation that the file was delivered to the CSC. Now what?

now it will either be forwarded to Chicago lockbox (or directly to Lee's Summit), or they will send it back to you.

Your lawyer apparently doesn't read the instructions to the forms.
 
Wow, and I thought he knew what he was doing.

If it has already been almost 3 months, don't you think it would have been forwarded already by now? Does it take them 3 months just to pick up an envelope and forward it to Chicago?

average is 4-6 months :eek:
 
If I were you I'd probably place a stop payment on those checks and then resend the whole package with new checks to Chicago lockbox long time ago.
