Did anyone layoff after filing I485 from Rapidigm?

Its not true. Management has made a policy that only those emp whose I-485 has been filed 6 months or beyond their GC will continue, others on bench and unpaid leave of absence will be terminated.Irrespective whether a person is in ERP/CRM or Peoplesoft
 
why to use EAD?

Hi Rapidigmer & Other Gurus,
Last week, I got notice to update W-9 form, to change it to EAD .
I have valid H1 till 2003 and got EAD.

Is it benefical to use EAD? Pl. share your opinion about using EAD.

After using EAD, if they layoff/revoke GC, what will be our status?

I heard that Rapidigm setup a lay-off policy. Bench_percent = 4%

For any Rapidigm branch if the total bench percent is less than 4%, then you are safe. If the bench percent is more than 4% then you will be fired.

E.g. Let us say 150 consultants are working at Columbus office. At any time there can not be more than 6 people on the bench. If the 7th guy comes to the bench, they are firing him after 2 weeks notice.
