Did anyone get an RFE lately

Hi,

Did anyone get an RFE from VSC lately.

My case when I called VSC last week said generated an RFE. Can some answer following questions :

How long does it take for RFE to come

Also how does it take to get approval once a reply has been sent to RFE.

It takes about 5 business days from the date the RFE is MAILED. INS may generate RFE and mail it several days later. So if you know hwen your RFE was mailed, you can expect to receive it 5 days later.

So far as your second questions goes, I do not have any answer. Reply to my RFE was received by INS on 8/1/2001 and I am still waiting.

I call my attorney, she will give two word answer "not Received".

Is their anyway to find out what the RFE about.

Any advice or info will be appreciated.
 
Got RFE but do not know what is going on!!!!!!

I called and found out I have RFE about company name change, but employer fired whole immigration staff! who will respond? can I respond myself? will INS send RFE directly to me?

There is no way to find out the contents of RFE until you receive it. Check with IIO if your rfe was mailed out and when. That will give you some idea when it will likely reach your attorney.
