Today, my wife and I got our passports stamped at Bloomington, MN office. The lady only stamped our passports. She gave us back the I-797 papers and she kept only the I-94s. We had some photos with us and I asked her if she didn't have to take the photos and fingerprints but she said that she didn't need them since the I-797s said that the cards should come in aprox 120 days by mail. She didn't ask about EADs and APs. 
Just one month before approval we filed for EAD/AP (new ones for me, renewals for my wife). Can I assume they are going to use the front facing photos we sent back then?
