Did anyone apply for an EAD and an Advance parole on their own?? I was just wondering if I need to send the money order favoring BCBS or INS. Please let me know.
On March 1, 2003, the INS became a part of the Department of Homeland Security. INS immigration fees for immigration services and benefits previously payable to the "Immigration and Naturalization Service" should no longer be made out to INS. They should now be made payable to the "Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services." (Note: Payments that have already been submitted made payable to the "Immigration and Naturalization Service" will continue to be accepted.)
As dinnu points out, it should be made payable to "Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services". Personally, I have done it myself for both EAD and AP in July 2003. My EAD has already been approved. AP is pending.
