What are the documents required when we go for finger print at Detroit.
Is Detroit manual or automatic for fingerprint.

you need your passport. however have your drivers license and/or EAD .
This is needed only if your photo is not very clear etc. Most cases it is only passport. I went with ten year old photo on the passport

Detroit is automatic. And is pretty quick. I went early in morning even though my appointment was at 3 PM.

For My wife scheduled 03/29/2002
For myself scheduled 04/03/2002

FP notice came to first my wife on 02/23/2002 then came to me on 03/02/2002

Mine is at 10 and I am also planning to go early. How can u check status after finger print is done.
 
Finger Print Experience at Detroit

Guys we have just finished Finger Print at Detroit and it is very easy.
You can go at anytime during the day not at the time given in your receipt.
You only need EAD and your FingerPrint notice.
Just fillout one form as soon as you enter and then go to clerk.
She will give you one number. You should get call within 30min.
