I am planning to land with no possessions but will include all my assets on the goods to follow list.

1. I plan to declare my car on this list. is it a good idea ?

2. once something is on the list, can it be removed later ??

Funny One?

Ray S.,

You always make me smile with your sense of humour; but not today. Get rid of the wife? I am asking you because I was the principal applicant, and I\'m "the wife" FYI.

Cheers.

you must declare the car ...

1) Keep the originals of the car title that you get fom the DMV and include the car with the VIN #.
2) I see no reason why you would want to remove some thing from the list, since it will save you on the tax. but if your question is whatif you want to say, sell the car in the US but you have already entered it in the goods to follow list ...not a problem at all.
3) PS include the estimated price in CDN next to the items, otherwise the customs will make you do that at the time of landing
