I'm in the US working for company A on a L1 visa for the last 2.5 years. I had reasons to quit and so I approached Company B for my H1B (premium processing). I have yet to receive a decision for my new H1. Now company A has another proposition and I would prefer to continue my work with company A given an option. Now the questions that I have are...

1. Can I continue to work for company A, till I get my H1 approval.

2. Can I still continue to work for company A with my L1 visa even after my H1 is approved.

3. If my H1 is rejected for some reason, can I still continue to work for company A and will the H1 rejection have any kind of affect on my L1

4. What should I or company B do, if I want to continue to work for company A in US even after my H1 with company B is approved.

Your expertise and any pointers would be sincerely appreciated.

Thanks,
Wilson

1.depends on start date mentioned on your h1b.
2. no you cannot work for the L1 employer.
3. sometimes both visas are cancelled and the person has to leave U.S.
Talk to a lawyer. in that case they can appeal with MTR.
4. Ask company B to withdraw petion before approval. That is the only way.
5. Else ask the company A to reapply for L1.
