Folks need help!!!!
I applied for 485 on 03/01. Got EAD on 04/01. H1 expired on Jun01.
I may get FP notice for 08/01.
Planning to get married in 11/01. Is there a chance I can add my spouse to 485 application. If yes, should she be here and if yes, how can I bring her to US as I don\'t have a H1.

I think it is possible as long as your I-485 does not get approved before your marriage and receipt of her I-485 application. Talk to a good attorney.

You can add your spouse to ur 485, but cannot bring her to US as your H1 is already expired. You might need to apply for Counsular Processing in India. She can come to US only after approval of her GC, which could take 8-12 months from the date of application. Talk to good attorney!!

I am not sure applying cosular process for your spouse while you(primary appicant) are on AOS.

You can apply for H1 extension if you still have time and bring your wife on H4. I think I have seen some posts on this forum some people have applied for H1 extension even after they got EAD. But you case is a little bit different your H1 is already expired, i guess you can come back to H1 again if you wish. Atleast my compamy immigration dept told me the same. that\'s why they didn\'t cancel my H1 even after they put me on EAD.
