congratulations! So can you go back to your home country now? I know there is heated debate on this forum that aslyee GC holder should/shouldn't go back to his/her home country. But how about derivative GCs? It's interesting to know the answers...
 
Okey to go back home country for derivative

called cis. the answer was yes but officer suggested me to schedule a appointment w/ local cis officer. again told not a problem on reentry. my daughter's passport is recently renewed by home country embassy. they decided to do so as my daughter was not the principal of asylum. never thought about going back myself.

my PR status started 5/21/02. eligible to apply citizenship 2/21/07. can't wait.
