Derivative Asylee and Marriage

Has any derivative asylee gotten married at his/her COP? I might get married in near future and I just wanted to get some inputs on this matter. Will I be ok to getting married in my COP or would I be better off getting married in my neighboring country and filing for I-130?

Anybody care to share his/her experiences/knowledge on this matter?

Why didn't you bring this up in your last thread? Now you seem to be concerned with the re-availment consideration. As a derivative, it is much less of a concern. Would you be in danger of violent attack upon return to the country your family had to flee from to seek asylum in the U.S? Would your association with this woman endanger her?

The PRINCIPAL asylee continues to be in danger of being accussed of having obtained asylum and LPR status by fraud and misrpresentation but as a DERIVATIVE you should be safe from the U.S. government. That just leaves the home country government or other forces back there to contend with.
