I came to United states a year ago as a derivative asylee and now its time to adjust status. What documents could i send to prove my asylum status. Is the I 94 stamped on my passport enough or do i need to send a letter of I 730 approval. My parents received an email when my I 730 was approved but they never received an approval letter on the mail. So is I 730 approval letter necessary or could i just send my parents asylum approval and my I 94. Please if anyone has experience with this let me know. I would appriciate that,
thnx

i believe i 94 is just enough,

you need to send copy of your driver licence or copy of state id as proof of identification,

good luck to you

Did you have an attorney? I am wondering if people with attorneys get their pending cases looked into.

If you have a derivative asylum, all you need is file I-485 along with your the I-94 proving that you were given derivative status. Normally, they accept it or they ask for more evidence in which case they will ask you specific documents. As far as attorney goes, If I were you I would filed for myself. I did mine by myself, and so far so good except the fact that it is still pending until 2001. don't worry, just file it. and finally, you are the person with final authority over affairs. we are just giving opinions and suggests from our experience: therefore, act accordingly!

Your I-94 card is your best proof of asylum status. If they need more in your case for whatever reason they will contact you.
