Dept. of State Did not include info. about e-mail on Webpage. Why?

Dear intelligent forum members:

Why do you think that DOS dispatched e-mails concerning Confirmation Numbers and DID NOT include this information on their Webpage? They did not mention absolutely nothing about this. I bet you thousands of entrants do not know anything about this e-mail. In fact, I wouldn't have known about it, if it weren't for this forum.

There must be a reason!!!

I was wondering the same thing. I've made inquiries several times about the emails DOS dispatched and all I got is an automated reply! See below. They direct me to the official eDV website( I'm new to this forum and am not allowed to post any urls yet) and the very answer I am looking for isn't even there; i.e. there is no mention of the email what so ever.
What's going on?

I know a couple and one received the email the other not, while both entered seperately so both should have received it, but my guess is that they either have made an error in the email address or only informed one person out of a household since it seems to me that putting 15 million email addresses in a system is a hell of a job...
 
Well to me i think sendin of emails is by batch,it was sent by batches.Thats why some got it on the 18 and 19 and even 20,21.I knw of some people that uses hotmail and gmail and they got the confirmation email,But still it has nothin to do with winnin.

DV Results could be fair this time even though we dnt knw method that would be used for redrawin selections.

Because ,all these theories... people playing detectives and paying so much attention to every insignificant little detail.. it's crazy. I mean, It's just an email, forget about it already..Everythin will be clear on july 15th anyway, so the best thing to do is to wait..

Guys i have said it b4,that we should be indicatin our DATES OF ENTRY IN DV,DATES OF CONFIRMATION EMAIL RECEIIVED,AND EMAIL PROVIDER.
 
It all sounds and looks like Dale Griblle's obsession with every little insignificant detail when he'd suspect something non-existing while the ultimate simple, yet not a very pleasant truth lies right in front of him :)

Department of State messed up the DV 2012 ? So then be it. It's their problem more than anybody else's - if they can't smoothly run a rather simple drawing then I bet they might have have bigger problems coming too.
