Can some one please tell me.... something like this happened previously for anyone.....

I know the cases Like primary approval and dependents wait..

My case is stuck with FBI Name check....Nothing I can do(I tried all the possible ways)....Just waiting...

On the otherside, my wife case has all cleared....

What are the chances???......My son's(11 years) H4 visa is rejected....unless until anyone of us get GC, we can't bring him here....

This is the only last hope before January 1st 2005....Please share the information if you know.....

Dear Mr. xxx

I am responding to your e-mail sent on September 27, 2004, requesting for status of an FBI Name Check.

A review of the FBI's Name Check Program database revealed that a request from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for Mr.xxx was received on March 8, 2004 and is currently in a pending
status. Due to increased national security concerns, in December 2002 to early 2003, the USCIS submitted an additional 2.7 million name checks for processing to the FBI. Although 99.5% of these cases have been completed, our efforts to wrap up the remaining requests continue. This has delayed processing of other requests.

Mr.xxxx, please be assured that the Immigration Authorities will be
notified at the earliest possible date upon completion of your case. I am sorry we are unable to be of more assistance at this time.

A review of the FBI's Name Check Program database concerning Mrs.xxxxxxx revealed a request was received from the United States Citizenship and
Immigration Services (USCIS) on March 8, 2004, and it was finalized on March 9, 2004. The results were forwarded to USCIS.

Sincerely yours,

David M. Hardy, Chief,
National Name Check Program Section
Records Management Division
