Dependant working on EAD - issues

Want to know if the applicant is still working on H1B and his spouse wants to work on EAD.

What are the formalities that needs to be done for a spouse to start working on EAD? Does the spouse needs to inform INS that he has started working..

When the spouse starts working he has to fill an I9 at the employer. That information has to be passed onto the INS/USCIS/BCIS by the his employer. I dont think that the H1B applicant needs to do anything to inform. Please correct me if anyone disagrees.

The spouse can start working on W2 hourly also right? Or does he need to be an employee of that company to be on W2 hourly..

The spouse can also do contracting, W2 on hourly basis? Correct me if I am wrong.
 
what are the farmalities to do work of spouse on EAD.

Hello Members,

What are the farmalities needs to do work of spouse(H4) on EAD.
correspondingly what are the farmalities needs to do of H1B
applicat(H1). H1 applicant got I 140 approval. Both (H1 & H4)
applied for I 485.

I think W2, contracting anything except self business goes. But if EAD is used I9 has to be filled.
