Departure from the USA after stamped visa expire

Hi,

My parents are here on visitor visa. They have 6 months valid stamped visa and it is expering on 20th of April 2004. They have got stay visa till 10th of May 2004. duraion of stay visa is longer then the stamped visa.

my questions are
1. is it valid for them to stay in the USA even though they have valid stay visa and not valid stamped visa?

2. If they go after 20th of April, means after stamped visa get expire, do they have to take any transit visa or any other document? They are flying via Paris.

What happenned to your parents visa?..

Did they left before the expiry of the I94. In my case my mom came here on visit visa. Of course she has 10 yrs multiple visa. I have extended her visa for another 6 more months. But now she has to stay here for another 15 more days to attend an important function. So is there any problem if i extend my mom's visa once again for two more weeks. Is that going to create a problem next time if she come back again to the United States on a visit visa.
Please advice me ASAP...........

Repeated extension of stay in the US will raise a red flag next time she visits US. At that time her period of authorized stay may be severely limited, she will not be allowed to extend stay any further and worse, be sent back home.
