I assume he has an I-551 stamp in his passport.

When he leaves, he gets on the plane and off he goes. When he returns, he shows the passport with the stamp.

It is likely that his departure will be recorded and transmitted to DHS.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm interesting ;)

you know for pepole who are interested in naturalization , its really matter because i heared that when you dep they dont know simply because they dont stamp the passport , " some times " they check your card
but
when you arri they make record , the most important that you have to mention all your trips while application for naturalization !!!!!! :D

15 years ago my cousin get the LPR he just leave the state , visit the state every year , after 5 years he get the naturalization

can you believe ???

any one who have experience in this :D

The passport stamp is meaningless. They will usually swipe your card (even the Canadians do so) and passenger manifests are automatically transmitted to DHS. They may not track 100% of exits and entries, but I'd venture that most are tracked and the ability to develop a complete history of your travel gets better each year.

I'd believe it, but it's not 15 years ago anymore. We have had 9/11 and massive databases since then.
