Hello everyone,
I'm new member here, I want to thank everyone helped in creating this great site, it is an extermely helpful site. Thank you very much.

I have a family-based immigrant visa which was issued about a month ago (5 visas actually: me, my wife, my two sons and one dauhgter).
However, all of my sons and my daughter's visas had printing errors, they switched two passports numbers in the visas (one of my sons have the other's passport number printed on his visa and vice-versa). And my daughter have an incorrect DOB (they printed the DOB which was provided by the sponsor application 11 years ago but not the one we wrote in the application form)

We were denied from getting on the flight to New York, the problem is that this flight flies from a transit airport, so we had to buy 2-week tickets to go back to our home country and correct these Visas and then go again to the transit airport where we will be travelling to New York.

My questions are:
1) How long does it usually take to correct such mismatch ? I have feeling that correcting passport numbers on the visa is a minor issue, however, the DOB is a little more complicated (see next question please)
2) My daughter's age now is over 21 (she finished her 21st year but not 22nd year). The DOB printed in the visa (and the sponsor application) makes her younger than 21 years, however, when we filled the application forms and made the interview at the embassy, we clarified this point and we wrote the correct DOB and we were told that her visa would still be approved. Do you think that correcting the DOB now can make some delays or even get her visa rejected ? even though we filled the forms with correct DOB.

The most important thing for me now is to be able to go back to the transit airport withing two weeks before my return ticket expires, do you think I will have the chance to catch it?

Best Regards,

A1: How long it will take to correct the typos depends on the local consulate.
A2: I reckon that this should be a non issue since they issued her a visa after you corrected them. However, don't take my word for it.
Good luck!!!
