DENIED as per my lawyer, but not as per the USCIS website?:confused:

My sister got the request to submit her visa screen, but she was not able to produce one on time (I think due Nov 06). In Dec 06 the lawyer said that her case was denied.:(

She just passed her IELTS test finally.:)

We checked the website today 23 Feb 07 and this is what it states in regards to her status.

Many times USCIS may not update the web site status. This happens to lot of denials. Check if your attorney has received the Denial notice. Before applying another I-485 make sure that she was on the status during the denial period.
