Denial percentage and greenland report accuracy?

From FunkyJunky's Greenland report, seems like denial percentage is very little.

However, from Customcat's link to BCIS's website - http://uscis.gov/graphics/shared/ab...t03/BENEFIT.HTM, seems like denial is around 10% of approvals?

Why there's such a hugh difference? Anything wrong with the greenland report?

Nothing wrong with the Greenland report; the two populations have different characteristics. Greenland only scans employment-based cases, whereas the INS report is for the total I-485 population (and also for a different period).

It is not hard to imagine a higher denial rate in other categories like family-based, amnesty, refugees, asylums etc. In fact, employment-based I-485 numbers are dwarfed by these other categories.
