I sent my N400 to phoenix, that was recieved on the 10Th of march, i havent got the NOA yet and was told by the officer over the phone that, they are currently having backlog and it will prolly take 30 days to input it into the system. Anyone else having the same issue with phoenix?

Actually it happens very few times. I got mine within 8/9 days after receiving by Phoenix. don't worry my friend, you will have yours one very soon. some times the USCIS is weird. For fingerprint thay usually take 15/20 days after receiving the file. But in my case they issued me the FP letter after 2 months. So, I say don't worry. Everything will be allright.

Thanks.

kck: I had the same question. My application was recieved in Phoenix on March 12. They haven't even cashed my check yet. I was wondering why it is taking this long....

Hi, my attorney told me that he sent the N-400 application to Phoenix in early February. But, up to this moment, I have not received any notification receipt yet. They have not cashed the check either.

My attorney told me to wait. But, I’m growing impatient and I contacted the immigration office directly and was told by the officer that they have not received my application. I have called them three times in the past month and was told to wait another week everytime. I thought by hiring an attorney it would make the process faster…

Any advise? I’m concern that they misplace my application. Is it okay to send another application? Any input greatly appreciated.

Hi I sent my N400 to Phoenix as well and recieved date is march 10. I got NOA today in the mail with PD march 17 !!!

Just give it a time. I sent a personel check and they haven't cashed yet. so I think they are busy. Also when you call what do you tell them? It is just a waste of time. Your application is sitting some where and they haven't put it in the system. Once you get a notice of action, they you can keep track of it. For now give them one more week...

Sorry man. My earlier post suggested that my check has been cashed...nononononon, my money is still sitting in my account..sorry man for the error

Has your attorney given any proof of dispatch?? Hope he has got the address correct??? Pl recheck. There is absolutely no requirement to use attorney for submission of application. If the case is difficult and if foresee any problem then it is better to use an attorney . Normally USCIS doesnot take this long to respond. All initial processing and cashing of checks are done within 2 weeks of receipt at USCIS.

I mailed my N-400 application on 03/16/2010 to Phoenix lockbox. The personal check was cashed on 03/29/2010. Do they print / write the reciept numbers on the front / back of the check anymore. All I could see on the back of the check was the bank info where it was deposited and two other numbers 30065951.004 and W001475 03272010.

Sent my application today (To Phoenix)

I was thinking that the whole process would take 3-4 months to have the Passport in hand....Looks like it may take more time because of the delay...
