Delay or Lost Revalidated Visa in USPS First Class Mail

State Departement has posted the revalidated visa on october 30th 2003. Till today I have not received any information or my documents. Unfortunately I had posted my documents through USPS First Class mail without tracking number. Please help me with ur suggestions for this type of situations and what should be my next steps to get my passport.

Any suggestion in this matter will be of great help.

Go to the local post office and file a complaint. Write or Fax to the revalidation center that it has been more than 14 days since the approval message and would they please check whether the mail was returned undelivered?
Explore with your embassy for a replacement passport . Discuss with your lawyer about filing I824 to get a duplicate I797 approval notice and try to get the visa revalidated in the replacement passport.

Can you tell me how many days it will take to get the new Passport and get it revalidated in US.

Is it possible to get the Visa stamped on the new duplicate passport. I saw some messages saying that we cannot get the Visa revalidated in US for duplicate passport. Is it true.
